    Hi Shanaya.
I enjoyed reading your interesting facts about sharks.
Wow how clever you are creating those bears out of oranges, they look amazing.
Are you going to eat them later on?

  4. Hi Shanaya,
Thank you for updating me about Sharks as I've forgotten a lot of the facts about them.
I used to know quite a bit about sharks because many, many, many years ago I used to be a surf lifesaver. In fact, one of the guys in our surf club was bitten by a shark in the early 1970's at St Clair Beach in Dunedin. The shark attacked and broke his surfboard in two and took bites out of the inside of his legs. He was very lucky to survive because a wave came along and he grabbed half of his surfboard and was washed to shore away from the shark, which was still following him. This happened when he was a high school student and decided not to attend school one day and went surfing instead. This goes to show that students should always be at school and not at the beach!

And Shanaya, your orange bears look delicious - I'm a big oranges fan so I'll have to get the recipe from you once we get back to school. Your shark drawing is very realistic.
    Have a great weekend.

    2. What a cool shark video you made Shanaya - I was very impressed with your knowledge about sharks and your presentation skills are wonderful. I really liked the way you looked directly at the camera, spoke very clearly and expressively. The background with the beach and sharks swimming around behind you was a very professional touch . . . it was so realistic - I was worried the shark was swimming up behind you to take a bite!!!
How long ago did you make the video Shanaya?
      Mr W.
