Petra's Paper Plane

 Hi Everyone

Here is my paper plane that I made today.  I decorated it just using my felts.  My two most favourite colours are purple and pink, so Air Petra is a purple and pink airline.  I created my own logo, which is the New Zealand map with the world globe next to it.  The dotted lines represent the flight paths of Air Petra.

I have just been outside and measured how far it flew and guess what, my plane flew 8 metres.  Let's see if your plane can fly further.

  1. Wow Petra. Thanks for sharing. I am glad you managed to measure your distance. 8 metres is a long way. I wonder if someone else will be able to get theirs to fly further?

  2. Hi Petra - Bubble School Kids here:
Your plane looks so cool and fast. We have just measured 8 metres out in the Learning Space at Bubble School (which equals 13 carpet squares in length) and we are very impressed with the distance your plane travelled.
Although, Alex would like to point out that it may not be able to be included in any records because it appeared to be wind assisted!
We think your idea of Air Petra, the World globe and the map of New Zealand is really awesome.

Mr W also loves your plane and feels like he would not be Petra-fied to fly in it!
    From,
Conor, Akshay, Alex & Khizer . . . and Mr W, Nina & the Ruru Bubble School Kids

We will let you know how far our planes travel later today.

    Hi Petra.
Wow I really like your paper plane.
What wonderful colours you have used.
Gee 8 metres, I think yours will be the winning flight. Unless someone else can make their plane fly further!
